Sport for Life is extremely excited to announce a brand new partnership with fellow dance providers Hai Arch Dance. Founded by former Sport for Life teacher Fiona Sherwood in 2012, Hai Arch Dance has established itself in the downtown area as one of the primary providers of dance for children.

With its very own studio located in the Mingyuan Building (address below), along with classes running in a range of excellent venues, Hai Arch Dance now reaches over 200 families across all of their classes, which will only boost the ever growing Sport for Life program!
Sport for Life intend to use the partnership by building the biggest dance program in Shanghai, with three of the most exciting dance showcases taking place at Dulwich Pudong, Dulwich Minhang and BISS Puxi. All performances will be a mix of Sport for Life and Hai Arch Dance students, so we are excited to see more children than ever performing together along with a broader mix of styles!
Both dance programs are very similar, offering Ballet, Hip-Hop and Contemporary classes. However the partnership introduces Parents and Tots Ballet and Kids Zumba to the Sport for Life dance program for the first time!
Ben Davis, Sport for Life General Manager explains that this opportunity was too good to turn down. “Being able to partner with Hai Arch Dance is a fantastic opportunity and allows us to fill an obvious gap in our schedule in the downtown market. In the short time I have been working with Fiona, I can see the energy and experience she brings will be a welcome addition to the team and will benefit all children involved! Alongside our Senior Dance Teacher, Annelie Olofsson they will be an unstoppable force!”
You can now find all of the Hai Arch schedule on our Dance Schedule page.
