Harry Swain has had an association with swimming since the age of 7 when he was proud to represent his hometown of Doncaster swimming at a competitive level in regional competitions. He spent over 10 years swimming competitively with experience of being coached by many different coaches with different styles, which have all had an influence on his teaching and coaching style. Following completion of his degree in sport and exercise sciences and his level 1 and 2 ASA swim teaching qualifications, Harry started his own swim teaching classes, teaching adults and children, group and 1 to 1 lessons as well as offering tuition for disabled and autistic children. In 2013 Harry moved to Greece, followed by Spain for two years where he was employed as a swimming coach for children within a holiday environment. Harry has also taught and trained adults aiming to swim competitively and can’t wait to start his new position at Sport for Life.
