Sport for Life are very excited to provide our very own taekwondo program, working alongside Grandmaster William and his colleague Mabel Liu. Master William is a world recognised taekwondo Grandmaster 7th Dan with the World Taekwondo Federation, and Mabel has over 3 years of teaching experience in taekwondo.View
Sport for Life hold a competitive swim-meet each season, giving students a chance to put all of their skills into practice in an informal competitive environment. Races will take place in groups of 4-5 children, with a mixture of school and Sport for Life students. The very popular Sport for Life Swimming Mini-Meet will be held Sunday, November 27, 11am-1pm at Wellington College, and to give you more information and spark your interest, we have provided a guide below for what the day entails. Sport for Life is looking for a number of part-time coaches to help with our programs throughout the city. We require coaches for Rock Climbing, Fencing; Karate/Martial Arts, Swimming, Tennis, Dance and General Sports Coaching. To be considered for one of the positions, we are looking for part-time coaches who have some experience teaching a range of different ages and abilities, hold a recognised qualification in the respective sport and are reliable with excellent time keeping skills.
